Petrotech specializes in every aspect of controls and instrumentation, including the supply of upgrades and auxiliary systems for turbine and compressor packages. The following auxiliary systems and components are available for complete or partial system upgrades:

 

AB PLC-5 Controller

AB PLC-5 Controller Upgrade

The Petrotech approach is to maximize the remaining lifetime use of the installed AB PLC-5 systems with minimal cost and downtime, while at the same time preparing the system for future upgrades. The existing PLC-5 controller program, including both the Petrotech anti-surge control (ASC) and turbine fuel regulator (TFR) control is ported into a current-technology PLC processor, then a dedicated link is established to the existing PLC-5 system.

Siemens Controller

Siemens 505 Controller Upgrade

The Petrotech approach is to maximize the remaining lifetime use of the installed Siemens 505 systems with minimal cost and downtime, while at the same time preparing the system for future upgrades. The Petrotech solution replaces just the 505 processor module. The existing 505 PLC controller program, including both the Petrotech anti-surge control (ASC) and turbine fuel regulator (TFR) control is ported into a current technology PLC processor then a dedicated link is established to the existing 505 system.
